What TryDenim needs to create your preview, where it goes, and how you stay in control.

Data & purpose
TryDenim processes the information you provide and the technical data needed to run the service. We use account and image data to deliver the service you request; security and abuse-prevention records for our legitimate interests; payment records for accounting and legal obligations; and consent where required for optional analytics.
- Email, name and account details
- To create your account, sign you in, send password-reset or deletion messages, and answer support requests. Passwords are stored as hashes. Google sign-in also provides a Google account identifier and profile image.
- IP address, cookies and usage records
- To maintain sessions, limit free use, protect against abuse and diagnose failures. Records include the page used, chosen fit, generation status and credit changes.
- Your photo, jeans photo and generated results
- To generate and moderate your try-on, display results and let you compare fits. Only upload adult photos you have permission to use.
- Orders and support messages
- To credit purchases, handle refunds and resolve reports. Polar handles payment-card details; TryDenim keeps order references, amounts and payment status.
We do not use face recognition, identify people from photos or create biometric identity templates. The browser may check body pose to help you choose a usable photo; this is not identity verification.
Who processes the data
We use the following providers for specific parts of TryDenim. Information may be processed outside your country, subject to applicable transfer protections.
- OpenAI — generation and moderation
- Receives uploaded images, prompts and generated content as needed to create and check a try-on. Input data may be retained in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, with legal and safety exceptions. Deleting a photo here does not immediately delete OpenAI’s logs. See OpenAI’s data controls.
- Polar — payments
- Processes checkout and refunds and returns order details to TryDenim. Payment information is also governed by Polar’s privacy policy.
- Google — optional sign-in
- Authenticates you if you choose Sign in with Google and shares verified profile details. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Hosting and email infrastructure
- Stores the account database and private media, serves the site and sends account emails. The production hosting provider and processing location have not yet been confirmed for this preview; they must be published here before launch.
- Google Tag Manager and analytics
- If configured, Google Tag Manager loads the site’s measurement tags. Those tags can receive interaction events, device/browser information, page URLs and IP-related information. See the cookies section below.
Storage & deletion
Uploaded person and jeans photos and generated results expire after 30 days. Delete photos and their results sooner from My photos or Settings. Files are private; access uses your account permissions or temporary signed links. Anyone you give a signed link to can use it until it expires or the file is deleted.
Delete account disables access and removes photos, results, password and avatar. It does not erase every database record: account identifiers (including email and name), usage, credit and payment records remain for audit, security, disputes and accounting. The 30-day media period does not apply to those records. Contact us for a personal-data deletion request; we remove data no longer needed and explain any legal retention exceptions.
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 48 hours. We verify ownership proportionately before disclosing or deleting private account data. Downloaded copies held by you or another recipient are outside our storage.
Your rights & how to ask
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Under the GDPR you can also complain to your data protection authority. See the European Commission’s guide to your rights.
California residents may have CCPA rights to know, access, correct and delete personal information, opt out of sale or sharing and limit certain uses of sensitive information, without discrimination. TryDenim does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority. See California’s CCPA guidance.
Contact TryDenim with the subject “Privacy request”, your account email and what you want us to do. Our response target is 48 hours; completion follows the applicable legal deadline (normally one month under GDPR or 45 days under CCPA, with lawful extensions explained). For intimate-image removal use the urgent reporting procedure.
